My criminal congressman is pleading guilty to tax evasion but is trying to stay in office.

New York Rep. Michael Grimm to plead guilty to felony tax evasion

NEW YORK (WABC) -- New York Rep. Michael Grimm will plead guilty to felony tax evasion in his fraud case, Eyewitness News has learned.

The plea is expected at 1 p.m. Tuesday in federal court in Downtown Brooklyn.

The congressman, who recently defeated Democratic challenger Domenic Recchia to win re-election, was facing a 20-count indictment that included tax evasion, fraud and conspiracy. He was also charged with perjury and obstruction for allegedly lying in a civil case.

It is based on the Voters rights act and gerrymandering. hrmjustin Dec 2014 #10
Sad about the gerrymandering. This seems to be an all too common problem. PotatoChip Dec 2014 #11
With the exception of Grimm, all of the NYC delegation are worth voting for. hrmjustin Dec 2014 #12

I'm so sick of these mother fuckers skating free after criminal activity while they lock up the poor and minorities for farting sideways. Fuck!

(or anyone here) know of a resource where I can find out who my daughter's elected representatives are?

Is there some resource either by zip code and/or area where I can find this? She recently moved from the E. Village to W.Chelsea (zip code 10001) btw.

Again, I apologize for getting off topic. Oh, and thanks for not only this, but all the great stuff you do for the folks in this group.

Kind of odd how it is set up. It doesn't seem to show the water bodies.

Still cool, though. Thanks!

On the upside, I checked Nadler out. He's apparently very liberal. Appears to be a good Representative.

I hope her other elected folks are like him.
