Cuomo: No Endorsement In Liu-Avella Race

While he has issued strategic endorsements in some state Senate races — notably Sen. Toby Stavisky on Saturday and Independent Democratic Conference Leader Jeff Klein on Sunday — Gov. Andrew Cuomo will remain neutral in a hotly contested Queens primary race.

Cuomo says he will not endorse in the primary race between IDC Sen. Tony Avella and John Liu, the former city comptroller.

“None. I have no position,” Cuomo said. “I am without position.”
