Mark David Chapman must continue to serve prison time for John Lennon's murder, parole board says

BY KENNETH LOVETT, DAILY NEWS ALBANY BUREAU CHIEF

ALBANY — John Lennon's killer will have to let it be in prison for at least two more years.

Fearing he may commit more crimes, a three-person Parole Board panel announced Friday it has denied Mark David Chapman’s eighth bid for release.

According to the decision, “the panel has determined that if released at this time, there is a reasonable probability that you would not live and remain at liberty without again violating the law.”

The panel added that “your release would be incompatible with the welfare of society and would so deprecate the serious nature of the crime as to undermine respect for the law.”

My guess is they won't ever let him out but that only a mere guess. hrmjustin Aug 2014 #5
If he'd done it in Michigan, he'd be in prison for life, no parole. That's the only possible catbyte Aug 2014 #3

sentence for first degree murder. The only way around it is if the conviction is overturned or if the governor pardons the offender.

He deserves to be flipped and dipped relentlessly by gigantic penises attached to violent felons who just like seeing that look on his face as his only human contact (unless that's his thing) ever. He wanted to be famous, how about as champion sperm receptacle for the prison's A Mile A Month Club

Prison rape isn't cool, no matter who the victim is.
