Lake George in good shape, facing risks

BOLTON LANDING (AP) — A 30-year study of a popular Adirondack lake finds that the waterway is in "remarkably good condition" despite pressures from development around its shoreline.

The Daily Gazette of Schenectady reports that the study of Lake George's water quality was released last week by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Darrin Fresh Water Institute and The Fund for Lake George.
