Anthony Weiner Loses His Campaign Manager

NY1News

Anthony Weiner's campaign manager Danny Kedem has quit, leaving the mayoral hopeful's already small team without a day-to-day leader, following a difficult week that revealed that Weiner sent sexually charged messages to women online following his resignation from Congress.

Kedem's move suggests growing concerns over the former representative's viability as a candidate, even as he vows to stay in the race.

Weiner's staff was already short on experience because of Weiner's Twitter scandal, his late entry into the race and reputation as a difficult boss.

After speaking this morning at a Baptist church in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, Weiner told NY1, "This is the most remarkable group of people that I've ever been around, the most professional and they've dealt with a presidential level of scrutiny. They've dealt with a candidate who's made some mistakes in his past, and they're coming back up now, but we're also a campaign that every single day is producing ideas."

with him. Never liked him, he always looked like a phony to me. You can tell when someone means it and when someone doesn't, and he was a damned phony.

i'm glad he took pics, good riddance. He always come off to me like a smarmy little phoney whiny clown, and lo and behold.

Sry, i know you backed him. .

very much looking forward to the next poll and the poll after that.

It's funny, I think even his press conference brought a little extra fatigue on him. I was always neutral on Huma on anything on a personal, how could I not be, but of course knew that she had to be one seriously together person, smart and tough and great at a very difficult job, impressive. But I don’t think her speech helped him at ALL. I think it may have left people even more wanting them to both just go away. It could have been tough like: “This is btwn me and my husband, which we’re working on in our own time. There’s always going to be interest in (whatever), but this is btwn me and husband” Period. Whatever, something like that. Something strong. But all the personal drama she felt like sharing about her therapy, lol, got downright bizarre. I think it fatigued people even further (including MYSELF!) b/c who wants to hear a candidate’s wife rambling on about her therapy. Was just bizarre. I’m not one of those hate-by-association Hillary-haters, I like Hillary, but now both Weiner AND his wife can go away as far as I’m concerned.

Go. Away. Lol.

A Thompson/de Blasio runoff would be more interesting.
