Even if Fordham Law professor Zephyr Teachout survives an effort by Gov. Cuomo to bounce her from the Democratic primary ballot, dont expect a debate before the Sept. 9 vote.
Highly unlikely, said a source close to Cuomo.
A debate would only help boost the profile of the little-known Teachout while having little upside for the governor, the source said.

Shame that these strategies approach serves us poorly.

Not that it was harmless, but it wasn't intensively destructive.
We are in a new post-petroleum fossil fuel age and it's the natural gas age.
It's being greenwashed as a clean energy source.
That's a lie, of course.

(74 posts)He is an inarticulate, unintelligent thug. Imagine, a guy who failed the bar exam multiple times debating a law school professor who is a skilled orator. He gains nothing by debating Teachout, and risks being exposed as the arrogant nincompoop that he is.
Unfortunately he will be re-elected unless most of NYC stays home on election day.
