question about Sullivan County???

can anyone here tell me a bit about Sullivan County (Liberty, Jeffersonville, Callicoon, etc) and why it would be a good place to live (or not)?? Thanks

Probably still is. Before that is was the famous "borscht belt". But what's a good place to one is not to another. What is your motivation for considering moving there?Knowing might help someone address its suitability to your specific needs.

there seems to be a move to bring life back to the area... I am considering where to settle as I think about quitting my job... want land to play with... love the politics of Vermont but am looking to sell my house and relocate
