In the midst of the reignited controversy over his handling of his anti-corruption commission, Gov. Cuomo’s poll numbers dropped--but not enough to help Republican challenger Rob Astorino.
Cuomo now holds a 54% to 23% lead over Astorino, down from 59% to 24% a month ago, a Marist College-Wall Street Journal poll released Monday found.
Cuomo’s 53% favorability rating has also hit an all time low, down from 58% last month.
