S&P upgrades NY’s bond rating

Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services has raised its bond rating for New York to ‘AA+’ from ‘AA’ and gave the state a stable outlook.

It’s the latest credit-rating agency to boost New York’s standing.

Last month, Fitch Ratings upgraded New York’s bond rating to its highest rating ever for the state, and Moody’s gave New York its highest rating in 50 years.
