Nets Coach Kidd Pleads Guilty In Hamptons DWI Wreck

Brooklyn Nets coach Jason Kidd pleaded guilty Tuesday to a misdemeanor drunk driving charge on Long Island and has been placed on interim probation.

Kidd was arrested last summer after smashing his Cadillac SUV into a telephone pole in the Hamptons.

He was the only person in the SUV and suffered minor injuries.

In exchange for the guilty plea, the 10-time all-star agreed to speak to Long Island high school students about the dangers of drunk driving.

when he crashed on the Bay Bridge maze, but he got away with it then.
