ME Identifies Manhattan Firefighter Killed In 9/11 Attacks

More than 11 years after the September 11th terror attacks the remains of a city firefighter have been identified.

He was killed when the World Trade Center's north tower collapsed.

Walz, who had been assigned to Ladder 9 in the East Village, was one of 343 members of the fire department killed in the attacks.

deal with his loss. I describe it as closure because I don't believe 'closure' exists.

I don't think information like this will heal them or give them closure. The only thing that really helps is time.

My big sister (13 years older than me) died from a brain aneurysm at age 45. She left a 23 year old daughter and a 10 year old boy. My brother raised the boy. My mother never got over her daughter's death. She lived for 14 more years, but it was with her every day.
