Possible tornado near Albany causes scenes of destruction

ALBANY, N.Y. -- The National Weather Service reports that trees and power lines were knocked down, several homes were damaged or destroyed, and a barn collapsed as strong storms moved through rural Schenectady and Albany counties between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

A building housing the Duanesburg Volunteer Ambulance Corp. sustained major damage.
