Queens Man Busted In Undercover Fireworks Sting



Authorities arrested a Queens man earlier this week after they say he sold a large number of fireworks to an undercover police officer.

Police say after the sale Tuesday night, officers obtained a warrant to search the Astoria home of George Liakas, 26.

They say they found thousands of dollars of illegal fireworks in both Liakas' home and car.

He is now facing charges including criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

As opposed to cracking down of Wall street of banks that stole 10s of thousands of homes.
