Frankly speaking, Joey Chestnut is once again top dog at the 98th annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest.
Chestnut won a record-breaking seventh straight Mustard Belt Thursday by downing 69 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes.
That beats his old world record of 68.
The runner-up finished with just 51 dogs.

(1,326 posts)1. Until Nathan's lets Takeru Kobayashi re-enter the contest, the results are null and void to me...
I feel they looked for any excuse to boot him out of their contests because they hated seeing a Japanese man win this contest year after year on the 4th of July. Just my opinion.

The Major League Eating organization that's in charge of the event want him to sign a contract not to participate in non-MLE events, and he's refused to do so.
