Albuquerque still dealing with police corruption.

I almost put this in the humor section because this has been a 50 year running joke in Albuquerque. Every few years, police corruption becomes so blatant that it can't be ignored and everybody vows to institute reforms. Of course, the dust settles and everything goes back to the way it was.

For a city it’s the mayor, state cops it’s the governor and county it’s the sheriff. All elected officials, vote them out and run on corruption. The person at the top is always elected.
