Albuquerque: 8th A.R.T. bush crash reported
An eighth Albuquerque Rapid Transit bus crash happened Monday afternoon in southwest Albuquerque.
The crash happened at Central Avenue and 52nd Street. This is the third reported crash at this intersection since the buses started running.
According to Alicia Manzano, a city spokesperson, a moped was making an illegal left turn and hit the ART bus.
The driver of the moped is OK but the passenger was not wearing a helmet and was taken to the hospital. The passenger is in stable condition. No ART passengers were injured. The bus was not damaged and returned to its normal route.
