And now, Bill Clinton will visit New Jersey to back Murphy for governor
TRENTON -- Another Clinton -- and another former president -- is coming to New Jersey to campaign for Democratic governor nominee Phil Murphy.
Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to join Murphy on Tuesday at a get-out-the-vote rally in Paramus, the campaign announced.
The 42nd president will speak at 5 pm. at the local IBEW 164 headquarters exactly two weeks before Murphy faces Republican nominee Kim Guadagno in the Nov. 7 election to succeed Chris Christie as governor.
Clinton's trip will come two days after his wife, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, spoke at a pricey fundraiser for Murphy in Harrison on Sunday.
