Breaking: Omaha Public Schools to accept superintendent's resignation

The Omaha Public School Board voted Saturday to accept the resignation of its incoming superintendent.
The board voted 9-1 to accept the resignation of Dr. Nancy Sebring.
Sebring was set to take over at Omaha Public Schools on July 1, but she offered her resignation after media reports that sexually charged emails were exchanged between Sebring and a lover during work hours at her previous job with Des Moines Public Schools in Iowa.
