Did you remember to file for property tax refund?
I think that this is something new. We file with TurboTax and their software seeks all these credits and allowances.
We never qualified for the "special refund" for homeowners whose property tax increased by at least $100 (yes) and at least 12% (no).
But this new one is for both homeowners and renters. I thought that we had to file it starting in July. Not necessarily, but the deadline is August 15. Filed it last week, online, was quite easy, even got confirmation. Of the filing, that is. Don't know when the actual refund will come but will be nice.
