Minnesota had Rethug Governors. Yes,people policies really do work and the engine of growth for the Upper Midwest is Minneapolis. DFL rules!!!

placed a tax on the iron industry that would be spent in many of the communities that surround it in the Arrowhead region. It helped with a lot of projects in this area.

if you have an education, regardless of race. However, it is also true that there is still a significant wealth gap between minority populations in general and white people, even though the Minneapolis-St.Paul area is increasingly diverse. One problem that's been in the news lately is the large racial disparity in student performance in the larger school districts. That needs to be fixed in order for the wealth gap to shrink. Overall, a person with an education has a better chance of getting a good job here than they might elsewhere; but the problem you refer to is quite real.
