We invite you to represent an engaged citizenry by attending the first pre-hearing conference of the upcoming contested hearing process at the MN Public Utilities Commission to stand for a livable future. This exercise is related to Enbridges request to increase the amount of tar sands crude to be transported in the Alberta Clipper Line 67 pipeline through northern Minnesota for export to the global market.
This conference will be Tuesday, Nov 5, Election Day at 1:30pm. The location will be in Room 350, 121 7th Place East, in St. Paul, in the Metro Square Bldg.
Public participation at these meetings send a strong message. We intend to be there to provide a silent, respectful visual presence indicating our commitment to calling on our regulatory agencies to take into account the significant impact tar sands oil extraction and consumption have on the climate and the future of all Minnesotans.
Please join us Tuesday November 5 and spread the word! For more information, visit MN350.org.
