requiring Minnesota voters to have a Photo ID

An email I got today:

=============================
Support for the Voter Restriction Amendment has dropped from 80% in May 2011, to 52% with six weeks to go until Election Day.

We are in striking distance of defeating this poorly written amendment and we need your help now more than ever.

This poll demonstrates what we've been saying all along. As Minnesotans hear about how costly and complicated this amendment is, they commit to vote no. It is just a question of whether or not we will talk to enough people before November 6.

We are so close to defeating this amendment, but we absolutely cannot do it without you.

Sign up to volunteer today, and together we will defeat the Voter Restriction Amendment.

Thanks,

Liz Loeb
