SAVE MOTHER EARTH!

Thirty-seven years after the end of the Vietnam War, the U.S.
government has announced it will finally clean up the toxic
contamination of Agent Orange herbicide—used to defoliate vast swaths
of rainforest and cropland to flush out Vietnamese freedom fighters.
This will take place around three former U.S. airbases in Vietnam.
For years, the Vietnamese people & Vietnam Veterans have been trying
to achieve remedial justice for the health and environmental damage
they have suffered due to exposure to the dioxin in Agent Orange. The
forum will be an opportunity for veterans and their families to tell
their stories about the struggle to get the Pentagon and Veterans
Administration to admit responsibility for the damage done to their
health and that of their children. For those who were born after
1975, it is an opportunity to learn about the tragic ongoing legacy of
that imperialist conflict.
