Well kids, now that Sen. Levin is not running, we have a tall 2014 order in front of us.

Not only do we have to find someone to replace the long-serving senator, but we also have to find someone to go up against Snyder and his money.

My initial thought is to run Peters for Gov. and Granholm for Senate.

To be honest, I think ridding ourselves of Snyder will be easier than protecting Levin's seat. It appears Tricky Ricky pisses of a new group of folks every time the sun comes up.

Whatever the case, MDP has one tall order for 2014.

1. Jennifer Granholm?

She would be a great Senator. Smart, charisma =18, very articulate. That's who I would recruit.

If she wants the job she better move back here now.

2. Michigan voters are often dumb.

Our bonehead voters elected a slew of Repubbers at the state level last election. Dunno if I trust us to elect anyone decent for Levin's seat. Probably that dopey Candace Miller will run for his seat for the GOP. Don't think Granholm will run for the Dem nom. I like her a lot but she kinda wore out her welcome with many voters at the end of her last term. Gov. Snyder HAS to go! But who will run against him? Maybe Virg Bernero again? But Snyder trounced him last time. Our AG is an ahole tool, also.

4. Whatever happens in primaries

We have absolutely get behind our candidates 100%. I will do all that I can to help get Dems elected in '14. I am sick and tired of Lansing being awash in red.
