Political insider: Four more years? Snyder hints at re-election bid From The Detroit News: http://w

Entering his third year in office, Gov. Rick Snyder has not declared affirmatively he'll seek re-election in 2014.

But he sure is dropping hints he wants to stick around for a full eight years, as permitted by the constitution.

In a letter recently sent to GOP rank and file members endorsing Bobby Schostak for another two years as state party chairman, Snyder said he will be "taking a more active role in helping our party achieve success in 2014, as I did in 2010."

"We can do great things, together," Snyder wrote, adding, "Remember what we achieved in just the first two years. Just imagine what we can achieve in the next six."

Snyder said it: Six more years.

Does Michigan law allow a former two term governor to run again if the second and third term aren't consecutive? If so, how would her chances look to beat that creep? She's so terrific and she's not going to be working for Current any more.
