Governor Whitmer has finally reached her breaking point:

Listen, I’m willing to work with a lot of people who I don’t see eye to eye with. But Michiganite is just too far.

A comedian in NYC called us “Michiganites” tonight. Where does that fit into your feud @ChadLivengood and @gretchenwhitmer?

3. Michigander or Michiganian

Having lived in Michigan for several years; and, having, had many discussions there about the proper descriptor for residents of Michigan; I know that the terms "Michigander" or "Michiganian" are preferred. In fact, most of the people I knew preferred "Michigander." "Michiganite" is just plain wrong.
