Detroit to host Bill and Hillary Clinton speaking tour with Ben Stiller

Detroit’s historic Fox Theatre will host 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton, for a speaking tour stop moderated by Hollywood icon Ben Stiller.

The Clintons embarked on a tour across North America last November, featuring anecdotes from their long political careers and conversations on the modern political landscape.

"From the American presidency to the halls of the Senate and State Department, to one of the United States’ most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections, they provide a unique perspective on the past, and remarkable insight into where we go from here, Live Nation said in a statement.

The event is scheduled for 7:30 pm. on April 12 at the Fox Theatre. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at 313Presents.com, LiveNation.com, the Fox Theatre and Little Caesars Arena XFINITY box offices and Ticketmaster.com.

in this election year? A living Democratic ex-president and the woman America actually elected instead of Trump, one who's been the planet's most admired woman for years? Calling people to the liberal cause?

They are Democrats supporting Democrats. They both care deeply about this country and the sad direction it has taken. Why on earth do you wish them to be silent now of all times? I for one welcome their voices.

HRC has been most admired woman in the world for decades.

Why would any genuinely progressive candidate or Democrat feel lessened by them showing their face in public?

and their message in support of the Democratic party will help all our candidates down to school board elections.

Dissing them is not a way to go. Accept that they are stars.
