Feds Say Dearborn Man Fought And Trained With ISIS

A Dearborn man previously charged with aiding ISIS faces additional charges that include receiving military training and fighting in Syria.
Ibraheem Izzy Musaibli, a 28-year-old American, now is accused of:
* Conspiring to provide material support to ISIS
* Possessing and discharging a machine gun in furtherance of a crime of violence
* Receiving military-type training from ISIS
The indictment says he was with the group from 2015-18, when he was picked up in Syria by a U.S.-backed forces.
“By traveling to Syria to train and fight as a member of ISIS, Mr. Mousaibli fought against coalition forces, which included members of the U.S. military,” stated FBI Special Agent-in-Charge Timothy Slater.
