I would travel by train anytime rather than drive. The US passenger rail system is a disgrace.

Details: with the stops, how long will the train take to get from A2 to TC? And what's the price of a ticket? And what transportation options are at the other end?
If two or three people are in the car, it may be cheaper to drive, and may be just as fast if you count the time spent making it through the station and waiting for the train to board and leave.
Plus, how many passengers will there be, on an average Monday thru Thursday? Enough to pay for the train's operation?
This sounds like an boondoggle.

Look at rail service in Japan and most of Europe, they know how to run a railroad.
