Low chance for isolated tornadoes Tuesday, forecasters say

More severe storms expected to bring winds, lightning today
UPDATED 6:02 AM EDT Aug 04, 2015

BOSTON —Severe thunderstorms packing vivid lightning and hail will move through the area Tuesday.

Meteorologist Cindy Fitzgibbon said the storms could also bring damaging winds and a low possibility of an isolated tornado.

A morning round of storms should move out by 9 a.m., but another batch will move in later Tuesday afternoon.

"Eastern Massachusetts is especially likely going to have the greatest risk of seeing strong to severe storms this afternoon with damaging winds, hail, heavy rain and I can't rule out an isolated tornado today," Fitzgibbon said.

That takes time and effort.

As far as the storm, on the bright side, the air after a storm is fresher and cleaner and negative ions present in the air after a thunderstorm create positive vibes.

So, once the storm ends, throw open your windows, make everyone in your home take deep breaths, and smile at each other!

(And negative ions are my reason for reccing a thread about a summer storm.)
