'Are you serious?': John Kerry challenges No. Kentucky's GOP Rep. Thomas Massie on climate change

Rep. Thomas Massie, the Congressman who represents Northern Kentucky, found himself in a heated exchange with former Secretary of State John Kerry during a House Oversight meeting on climate change Tuesday.

Kerry was witness at the hearing, which was held to address the need for leadership to combat climate change.

Massie grilled Kerry for his "pseudoscience" college degree and his knowledge of atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration.

'Are you serious?'

Massie criticized Kerry for questioning President Trump's convening of a panel of experts to determine whether climate change is a threat to national security.

"Instead of convening a kangaroo court, the president might want to talk with the adults he once trusted enough to fill his top national security positions," Kerry said in his written testimony.

I'm having to share the laptop with my brother which usually means that I only get it when he sleeps or going to an appointment. At least I was able to get files transferred off of my desktop computer to external disk so I didn't lose any information.

However, his laptop didn't have any Microsoft Office products so I'm using Microsoft Office 365 now. The only bonus that has over what my desktop had is that I have Microsoft Access so I was able to transfer the links from my Excel spreadsheet over to Access and added some additional columns such as the publishing company associated company so I can avoid using sources that are afffiliated with the larger publishers like Gannett, GateHouse, and Hearst. It took aboutt 10 days to complete the project, but it should speed things along pretty well. The last cycle through the country only took about 11 days while it was about 25 days previously so I'm hoping that I can keep it at 14 days or less to provide better coverage on the state groups.

It sounds like a whole lot of work - but your efforts have paid off for DU. And you sure have a better understanding of these things than I do, LOL. I wish that KK still posted many of the MSNBC clips, but I looked for this one and didn't find it. Most from today were of the Maxine Waters/Steve Mnuchin confrontation - and even Stephen Colbert showed that!

If it doesn't get eclipsed by the Julian Assange arrest - and they're also talking about the admissions scandal.
