a sincere fyi about Rand Paul, Russia and the Louisville Courier-Journal web site

As most or all of you know, Rand Paul is going to Russia on August 6th with other Republicans to discuss...something. To me, the good citizens of Kentucky should know this, right ?

https://www.courier-journal.com/section/global/washington/

Granted, I am no expert on using the web site. I cannot find any mention of his trip at all, despite using the search function and just looking manually.

The Lexington Herald-Leader newspaper web site does have it: https://www.kentucky.com/news/politics-government/article216001710.html

To me, a story about your Senator traveling overseas should be pretty easy to find. Best wishes to our good Kentucky DU'ers.

Apparently Paul has gotten real tight with Trump for the last several months, so I'm thinking that's part of this Russian trip.

Stories that are posted there will usually only show on the prominently displayed pages for 1-2 days before they are replaced with more current stories, but the articles will remain in the politics section longer.
