So what is up with this new Des Moines Register Poll

where Obama is allegedly trailing Ron Paul, Romney, Santorum.

And where 51% of Iowa Democrats want to vote for Newt Gingrich over Obama.

Seriously?

There is a lot of fishy stuff about it

that Obama has got to strike back/respond to these attacks by the right. Say something often enough without any argument from the Democrats and people will finally believe it...true, or not. I've never understood why this administration has allowed so much of this crap to get through the floodgates. They need to respond and respond quickly.

When I got the dmr this morning my first reaction was: if any of those idiots were to win here I would leave Iowa and move to another state. I've got a brother on the West Coast.

That quotes from "Independent"* voter Krissy Dewandel, a teacher from Larchwood, seems pretty typical for this side of the state.
Interesting they chose someone from Larchwood for a quote. Lyon county is the second most Republican county in IA.

*Independent often means they can pretend to be non-partisan and then vote Repub.
