http://www.ourquadcities.com/story/d/story/questions-arise-after-hillary-clinton-campaign-sto/16736/jHiKPEjmW0qOq7lT5qLghQLocal news station WHBF tried unsuccessfully to create some controversy about Hillary Clinton's visit to a LeClaire, Iowa coffee shop this week. There attempt failed miserably. You can go look if you want, I wouldn't give them the traffic.
WHBF is in Rock Island, Ill. and is owned by media conglomerate Nexstar out of Irving, Texas - talk about local news!
One of the people Hillary met with is a friend of mine and is as honest as they come. She was there to meet with an old friend of hers. The friend had recently been hired by the Clinton campaign, but there was no expectation that she would meet Clinton.
Also heard that Limbaugh took a shot at discrediting this event. None of his five listeners believed Limbaugh's story.

(62,420 posts)maybe they have heard of W? I was kept out of a repub appearance someplace - can't recall just where now - because someone recognized me as a Dem.
In a small get together like that, tell me that any candidate is going to just let a couple of bozos off the street come in and shoot their mouth off? I would so love to get picked to have a coke with Paul, Bushie or any of the clowns in the bus. Bet it won't happen.
Does make me think of how Randy Paul ran so fast from that unexpected confrontation by a 'dreamer.'
Once more the RW media tries to stir a controversy where none exists. And fails miserably.
