A fine park which hosts some great events. This won't be one of them.
My wife is an immigrant who is trying to become more Americanized by, in part, following news stories. We went to see Obama (sort of) in Iowa City last month and I asked her if she wanted to see romney next week. He reply? "No. He's stupid. I don't like him" Her command of the language isn't the best, but she knows who's ok and who's not.

I am toying with going, but I think I will go help our House candidate door knock (Sara Sedlacek, dist 88)
Had a chance to meet Marie Bribiesco a while back (house dist 94). Boy she is good!
We have some good candidates
Repubs got some real stinkeroos.

3. I just signed up for a Moveon event

And am planning on going to a press conference by the AFL-CIO which will be held at LeClaire Park I think. Or maybe at Centennial Park which is right next to LeClaire Park.
Thinking about starting a blog and seeing if I can get press credentials so I can heckle him. Well, it worked for that ahole from Carlson's website.

4. Update on AFL-CIO press conference

2:00 in Centennial Park. There is a gazebo down there and it will be held in that. And at 3:00, the 99% rally with Moveon. And at 4:00, the "main attraction", ol' mitt himself. Wonder if he's aware of any of the people who fish the Mississippi either in small boats or onshore?
