Branstad one of nation's worst governors

Well, can't tell you just how surprised I am.
But even when it comes to being a failure, Branstad is a failure. He is not the worst or even in the top 5. Not even the top ten. Branstad can only make it at #13. But that is bad enough to stink the joint up. Let's hope it is bad enough that the voters want to take the garbage out.

Branstad begins on page 91. Note, the Hedlund incident is not in this story.

More than half of Iowa voters – 54 percent - think Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad has been in office long enough, while 37 percent want him to go for another term, a new Quinnipiac University poll shows.

Sixty-one percent of Republican voters said Branstad should seek another term, and 15 percent of Democrats agreed. But 55 percent of independent voters said he’s been in office long enough, the poll found. Among men, 51 percent said “long enough,” and 58 percent of women agreed.

The only reason he's not is because the Iowa Senate has held the line and kept Governor Leadfoot from Koch/Walkerizing Iowa.

And it was even extra sweeter when Gronstal won reelection despite the teabag efforts to get him unseated.
