Misogynistic fliers posted at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — On Wednesday afternoon students at Purdue University began noticing a recent crop of fliers taped up in Beering Hall and the Class of 1950 Lecture Hall.

The posters were anti-feminist and anti-women's rights. Groups like Purdue Social Justice Coalition feel it was no coincidence these fliers appeared when they did.

"It was International Women's Day, the one day dedicated to celebrating women," Viviana Tsangaropoul, an organizer with Purdue Social Justice Coalition, said.

Some of the posters were attributed to the white supremacist group Third Position; the only credit was the Twitter handle @third_position in the corner of the page.
