I'm now wondering if we should cross over and oust Kinzinger. I just don't see the farmers in the area supporting Hale plus it would be rather easy to put Hale's wacko views front and center. But first we need to find a dem to run (and funding for him/her).

I used to be involved with the Ogle County Democrats. They are so backward it is not funny. They infight and they are cliquish. Their so-called chairman does not even know how to use a computer. Most of them are very elderly, and I am 65. They do not find candidates, and they do not know how to raise money. Work with some of the other county committees in the 16th district, but prepare to find apathy, and many, many repubbies. Nothing will happen, unless Kinzinger is involved in a scandal. Even that may not be enough.

I have turned my activism to other areas of the Democratic party.

Manzullo-lite's TV ad - I liken it to the Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man". Servant leadership is that the 1% call the shots as the 99% serve them.
