Just wondering...did Rahm ALWAYS have it in for labor, the poor, and activists?

And did he always blame union teachers for all the problems in public schools?

Or was it just that some rich guy offered him a nice deal for his soul?

Figured Chicagoland Du'ers might have the earlier scoop on all of this.

I'm thinking she might not be too proud of her son right now.

I think it's the selling his soul thingy that most politicians fall for these days.

Perhaps it could be psychological...maybe he felt ignored by mom, thought his mom was away from him too much being an activist and now tries to get payback against the sort of people he blames for her spending her time picketing and marching rather than being Carol Brady.

Not fair of him to feel that way, but I can see that as a possible root of his attitude.

...more Democrats are openly critical of Rahm than Republicans.

Notice that?

until I realized that Obama chose Rahm BECAUSE of his ideas. And now that Larry Summers is going to be unleashed again upon the financial world, Rahm almost looks like an almost pleasant, nostolgic minor shit, rather than a major asshole.

At times I've thought of him as "The Manchurian Candidate".
