Illinois Governor Pat Quinn signs law expanding voting rights to more teens.

Seventeen-year-olds who turn 18 before the November 2014 general election will be able to vote in the March primary, under an Illinois law enacted Wednesday.

This is how blue states handle voting rights, they expand them. Good on Governor Quinn!

The worst I can say about him is that he is not very strong in getting the State Senate and General Assembly to work with him. But he seems like a very moral man who tries to do what is right.

The 26th amendment specifically states that states can NOT set ages HIGHER than 18, but not lower. We should actually lower the age to 15 or 16 to guarantee progressive government in perpetuam.
