For myself, I'm doing all the suggested things but it's still a tad nerve-wracking going to Publix. My son
stopped work only 6 days ago, but he shows no symptoms so far.

How are you holding up ?

1. My husband and I are doing great

but we're retired and I think that makes this easier. We don't have to worry about lost jobs. I spent yesterday doing yard work I've been putting off for months and I have plenty of hobbies to distract me.

My nephew (a nurse) just tested positive (but he's not in Florida).

2. Doing well

I’ve been home for 3 weeks because I came back from a trip through Atlanta and Charlotte airports with a bad cold. I treated it as if it were the plague and stayed away from everyone.

We jumped to get everyone at work to be able to WFH. I sometimes panic at night about future business but otherwise I’m fine. I live alone and basically I’m a hermit. My lifestyle has not changed that much.

3. Staying home in SW Fl

Only head to a store early in the a.m. and very infrequently. Wear gloves when I do. We sit on the lanai for fresh air and walk the dog for exercise. Many snowbirds in our community have left for the north. . We're not going to risk the trip north til it's all clear. We would have to travel to several high virus states of we did. And who wants to stay in a motel now?

4. Hangin in there on the Gulf Coast Panhandle.

We are still digging out from Hurricane Michael. I worry the local businesses that made it through that storm might not survive this. So much of our economy is based on tourism and I don’t see that happening like it normally would. We are still short hospital beds as they were significantly damaged in the storm. The only silver lining is a lot of people who would normally fly somewhere for vacation may decide to drive here instead.

A little stir crazy at home but healthy and safe! I keep reminding my family that we do some version of this every year during hurricane season when we lose power and can't leave the house - but this time we actually have air conditioning & internet so we have nothing to complain about.

6. Doing fairly well. Bored. Hate going for groceries. Probably won't have to shop

for a couple of weeks now. We do go for walks and observe social distancing but other than that we stay in the yard.

I wish the governor would shut the state down like a democrat would.

7. Holding up in Jax

Working from home. The local Publix here in Jax delivers, but we wipe everything down when they do. There's a Jax Open Mic facebook group, so we can still do music virtually, but can't pick with our son - but we're thinking of doing a video with him playing through a mic from the other side of our sliding glass door. We're pretty much isolated, but to relieve the cabin fever, we're thinking about a long drive without getting out of our car this coming weekend.

8. Great

Going to work everyday, helping facilitate loans for houses and keeping the economy going. Eating out every night to support the local businesses. We don't really have cases here in north Florida and don't expect any serious amounts, so most people have little worry.

9. My wife and I are doing fine.

We're both symptom free and I am still working as a private duty nurse. The family is social distancing as much as possible.

Toilet paper and some food items are hard to come by here, but we are maintaining social distancing here in N. Florida.

10. Thanks, we are doing ok.

I hope, anyway. Stupid DeSantis hasn't closed businesses, so BMW is still open and my husband is driving loaner cars to customers and helping in the service lanes. BMW is disinfecting and wiping everything, but what if someone infected gets too close and breathes on him, some idiots just have no sense of boundaries and BMW owners (in general) tend to feel they are entitled and the rules don't apply to them. It's 30 hours a week, but I am still nervous about this.

I am self-isolating as I'm older and have several risk factors. Couldn't ask for better weather, it's really beautiful so am enjoying walking 2x day now and working in the yard in the shade for short periods. We are fine with groceries & supplies - EXCEPT you can't get hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, gloves or masks or thermometers here. So we are washing vigorously with soap and water all the time, hoping this will be sufficient.

Hope we and the country get through this and aren't totally fucked up.

Click on each county to see things like number of positive tests versus negative tests and the number of positive tests that require hospitalization(this is the one missing from most news articles and thus leaves many people confused and mislead).

13. Doing good here in Leon County

Work is progressing on our addition, construction is not stopped. The only problem is materials delivery, but not that there are shortages. The supplier that the contractor uses is inefficient, to be generous.

There are a lot of workers here but I don't have close contact with any of them.

My husband ran into town to check on a friend and run some errands. He'll get the few groceries that need to be gotten fresh while he's in town.

The friend is not very mobile and my husband makes sure he has groceries. Usually on Wednesdays my husband takes him out to dinner, but with the restaurants closed, that won't happen, so today, he'll pick him up and let him ride along on the errands. It's the safest way to get him out of his house and make sure he doesn't get hurt.

gardening, and doing stuff I put off doing for the past year.

todays TampaBayTimes showed a pic of people along the bayside waterfront having a "social gathering"...

Seems they just got to get out of the house, or they don't give a rats' ass about anyone but them. The story goes to page 12 and there's a quote of some guy yelling, "After party at my house".......

15. Fine here in Brevard

Husband and I are pretty well stocked up. he wants us to try and stay home for two weeks, just to be sure we're healthy and COVID-free. I keep thinking that we'll run out of something before then. I am a creative cook though, so we should be fine.
It's funny, we don't really go out much, but it's awfully different when staying in is required.
I'm keeping tabs on family -- one daughter is in San Diego and the other in Brooklyn.
