What a coincidence. I posted a rant in the Lounge, which explained what I thought

was the beginning of the lack of respect for property lines in my neighborhood and the City Attorney of that time that I mention in my rant is the same attorney that today is the topic of another article from the Orlando Sentinel.

Here's the link the thread. The rant is response #3

Here is the article from the Orlando Sentinel

Documents show Frank Kruppenbacher mixed Virtual School job with family, clients, airport role

Newly released Florida Virtual School records support an investigation’s findings that the school’s former lawyer, Frank Kruppenbacher, overlapped his position, school staff, family, outside clients and his role as Orlando’s airport chairman.

For example, Kruppenbacher and his wife, Patsy, often prompted staff at the online school to coordinate with staff at the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority on plans and expenses for GOAA trips overseas. Patsy Kruppenbacher also sought to have school staffers attend to a variety of matters, from her husband’s retainer invoices for outside legal clients to composing family Christmas cards, emails show.

In an email from 2015, she asked an FLVS worker whether Bright House Networks, one of her husband’s clients, had been “invoiced yet?”

Kruppenbacher, who claims he was terminated by Florida Virtual School last August, had represented the online school since its inception in 1997, first as a contract lawyer for Orange County Public Schools and, beginning in 2011, as a staff lawyer.
