Gov. Scott releases attack ad aimed at Starbucks screamer

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/politics/political-pulse/os-gov-scott-attack-ad-starbucks-lady-20160408-story.html

NOT THE ONION

TALLAHASSEE – Gov. Rick Scott isn’t going to take being yelled at lying down.

After being screamed at in a Gainesville Starbucks this week by Cara Jennings, a former Lake Worth city commissioner, Scott’s political committee, Let’s Get to Work, released an ad attacking Jennings for her outburst.

The ad is a short video playing on Let’s Get to Work’s website.

The ad attacks her as a “latte liberal” and a “self-proclaimed anarchist” who wants more government spending. Jennings was blasting Scott for not doing more to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. Scott announced his support for Medicaid expansion in 2013 and said he would continue supporting it during his 2014 reelection campaign, but reversed course last year.

That said, there's a ton of retired civil service workers from other states whom - now that they got theirs - vote for any white-skinned asshole who sends out the dog signals: "it's all because of those people", cut unemployment, cut social programs, cut taxes (already very low in FL) etc.
Of course this also means healthcare, public education (they are quite fond of "charter schools&quot , infrastructure - but hey who cares, we're retired and we live inside a gated community! Besides, we still have our healthcare from our former home job!
So, lo and behold, we now have a entire state government filled with human garbage wrapped in skin.
There's phony Joe Negron who never misses an opportunity to portray himself as an environmentalist, all the while living off the tit of his big money sugar friends, for-profit colleges (OK, Keiser you're really a "non-profit"!!), and any other special interest that he whores for in his law firm.
There's Steve Crisafulli, a product of gerrymandering and prime supporter of Bat Boy Scott's vehement opposition to Medicaid expansion. Crisafulli is one those "smaller government" guys, whom, like the relocated workers above, is staunchly opposed to all kinds of government social aid - now that he has his. Yeah, Crisfulli and his old man reaped plenty from Department of Agriculture programs and farm subsidies, but hey! they were giving it out and he was there to take it!
Oh I could go on. The state capital is full of them and will probably remain so as long as long as their asshole supporters keep choosing their bigotry, selfishness, and ignorance over helping to make Florida a better place to live for all. How about getting the hell off my lawn!

he fails to address her concerns in person, something I know people like Obama or our candidates would do - instead, he runs like the chickenhawk he is and becomes passive-aggressive
