Someone needs to light a fire under Charlie Crist and the FL Dem Party!!!

A couple polls this week show him behind Rick Scott but within the MOE. This is unacceptable. I am starting to lose hope that we can rid FL of this scourge. How the he'll do we vote for Obama twice but Rick Scott as well???

FL Dems better get a fucking clue and start working hard FOR Crist!!

He IS worth fighting FOR! Even as a repuke he was moderate. Right now we have a guy to the right of the KKK!

Christ has this....don't worry too much. Florida is sick of Scott (I have a home down there and believe me)....I know I mostly live in Maryland, but I am in Florida quite a bit throughout the year.

Right now he has Scott spending millions against him, and Nan Rich's face being used on ugly mailings against him. I know that's what people do in primaries, but it's really doing harm right now.

It will be years before we know what harm Scott has done to Florida.

Yes, Obama won twice. That was only due to an unusually large turnout of African-American voters. Obama didn't get a majority in 2012, and his 2008 victory was the only time a Democratic presidential nominee has gotten a majority in FL since 1976.

up until Jebby & the likes of him and his cohorts, Florida did elect a lot of Democratic Governors. I think I moved here when Reuben Askew was Governor, there was Bob Graham and Lawton Chiles that come to mind right now. Perhaps they were "moderate" but I know Bob Graham DIDN'T vote for Iraq War and decided not to run for Senator after that.

However, other than Crist who actually surprised me by being more moderate than most Repukes, we've had a rough go with the other Repukes. One of very worst was Paula Hawkins and of course there's the BELOVED Jebby! Having said all this, the Democratic Party here does NOT impress me much. AND my local Democratic Party is a bit too "light" for me! I've worked with them during elections, but know from meetings that I'm much more to the left of most of them. There have been a few locally that worked hard on some issues, but I get frustrated lot. Perhaps it's because this county rarely elects a Democrat to any office. Lots of Independents, but they're mostly rich and vote RED.

There's NO DOUBT in my mind that Vern Buchanan will be re-elected to Congress, and he's had many lawsuits filed against him. Even when he ran against Christine Jennings in a highly contested race that many of us felt something really weird went on. So many under votes that I don't think ever got a good answer as to what happened. Even so, Jennings was a (R) who ran as a (D) and the local Democratic Party threw Jan Schneider under the bus.

Seems FL Democrats keep doing this type of thing. Kendrick Meek who NEVER had a chance when he ran against Rubio had so many Democrats not willing to abandon him and split the vote between him and Crist. Now we have Nan Rich who will pull votes from Crist this time around. For me, and I've said this so many times, I'll vote for Crist and keep my fingers crossed that he can pull off a win against "the alien" Rick Scott!

Not sure what to expect because of the money Scott has piled up! I'm so sick of the CONSTANT bad news all the time and have lost so much faith in how this country is being run. Scott Walker, Chris Christy, Rick Perry, Rick Scott... and on and on, but it seems they keep getting elected even when crap swirls around them! I DO recall the upheaval way back during Viet Nam, but this seems so much worse. People just are so uninformed and most seem to care less. It's hard for me to engage many people I know to vote much less discuss real issues. Really depressing, but mostly apathetic! I post here for a while, then have to leave for a while because even when we think something on the horizon might happen for the good, somehow it takes a turn for the worst! I have too many questions and very few answers so it drives me crazy! And of course... The Tea Party IDIOTS who say the most outrageous, uninformed, unintelligent things who get elected and leave me scratching my head!

I keep thinking SOMETHING surely will happen and wake people up, but NO, nothing seems to pop!
