This month's meeting will be April 10th at 7 pm at the Community room at the Lakeland Library on Lake Morton.
We are pleased to have noted author of 'Wrapped in the Flag', Claire Conner back to discuss her riveting story of growing up with her father, one of the founders of the ultra conservative John Birch society. Claire makes our struggle against the Tea Party conservatives come alive with remarkable parallels to the strategies that were first used decades ago.
Many of our members missed her when she last spoke to our meeting, so please plan to attend. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the Right and their motivations, and hear what Clair suggests Democrats and Independents must do to prevent our country and the liberties we cherish, from being taken from us. Copies of her book, Wrapped in the Flag will be available for $15 and will be signed by Claire.
