I was working as a title attorney for Chicago Title and as I recall the work was preparatory to the construction of the Judicial complex adjacent to Union Station. The Architect of the capitol wasn't sure what they owned there.

I also did a lot of stuff relating to the Old Federal City regarding title to the streets, etc.

I'm halfway working on a novel set in DC in the War of 1812 and I always love to learn more about the layout back then, especially of Barracks Row and the vicinity.
