DFA Fundraiser for Progressive Elissa Silverman 3/2
Elissa Silver is a progressive that's running for the At-Large council seat. Because of her work in supporting progressive causes (such as campaign finance reform and progressive taxation), she was overwhelming endorsed by the local Democracy for America chapter (DC for Democracy), receiving 79% of the progressive vote.
DC for Democracy is going to hold a fundraiser for her this Saturday from 4 - 6 pm at the San Antonio Bar & Grill, 3908 12th St NE. The nearest subway stop is CUA - Brookland. If you're free, please come out and show your support, and remember to vote on April 23rd!
