Hospitals here are overloaded with RSV, flu, and some reemergence of COVID. Get your bivalent booster, wear a mask, and get a flu shot, folks... BTW, Polis should do well and was reelected incredibly easily against his anti-abortion (to the degree of fascism) female Trumpist opponent. (sigh of relief)

The governor had been testing regularly because of a “known exposure,” his office said in a statement, and he tested positive for the virus Thursday. He will continue to perform his duties and work from home until he is no longer contagious in five days, assuming he stays asymptomatic.

It’s the second time the governor has tested positive for the virus since the pandemic began. Both Polis and his husband, Marlon Reis, fell ill with COVID-19 in late 2020. Reis was briefly hospitalized, while Polis’s initial case was mild.

Polis is fully vaccinated, the governor’s office said.
