Sledding near Boulder

Going to be traveling to Boulder with family and my little grandson. (1.5 years old and never seen snow)
Looks like Boulder probably won't have snow. Is there sledding near Boulder?

Son and DIL will be taking the shuttle to Eldora to ski. But it seems like Eldora is a bit too much just to take my grandson sledding. He will probably enjoy sledding for a half hour or so.

Thanks in advance!

Why not go to Eldora? Sometimes a course of action that we reject is actually the best one... abqtommy Dec 2019 #1

It snowed, and we took him sledding here in town. LeftInTX Dec 2019 #6

Just a few old dirty drifts here and there. Eldora might be your best bet unless something moves in.

There is a YMCA camp with a sledding hill and "lift," ice skating and Xcountry up by winter park also. They have everything you need there also.

Is there another in Winter Park. I'd forgotten about the camp. That would be perfect! Great idea.

sledding is too dangerous for a child that young. And it's a long ride on I70. Ruby Park in Denver is great when we have enough snow. Eldora your best bet.
