Is it open to the public or do people have you make
these reservations.
Since many of my neighbors know nothing about him
I would like to encourage them to hear his views.

the signup helps.

The maximum capacity at Richter Center gym is 2,600 folks. If the campaign sees more than expected signups, they have time to plan out for the overflow crowd or relocate to a bigger venue....

I'm glad Bernie's coming here!

From the sign-up site:

"2981 people have signed up to attend this event."

I'm trying to think where else they could have it indoors in metro Denver. The convention center's booked with CSU's graduation. The Pepsi Center doesn't have anything going on their calendar, but I bet they'd want to charge the campaign an obscene amount of money.

Why did they not look for a bigger place?

Since it is a public and free event there may be
4000 or even 5000 people perhaps due to
simple curiosity.

If only 2/3 can be seated it may cause true
disappointment, which we don't want.

today they'd removed the crowd counter from the signup page! I think they know they're way past capacity but don't want to discourage people from signing up. I plan on getting there at 5:15, myself, as soon as I can get there after work.
